Roof Financing
Two paths to pay over time: Klarna installments at checkout for smaller invoices and deposits, or Homewise nonprofit home-improvement loans for qualifying NM homeowners on larger projects.
Klarna at Checkout
Best for repair invoices, deposits, and smaller scopes. Apply during Stripe Checkout — soft credit check, decision in seconds.
Available when invoice fits Klarna's amount limits (longer financing tops out around $10,000).

Independent New Mexico nonprofit lender. Fixed-rate loans for qualifying NM homeowners on roof and other home-improvement projects — including larger re-roofs.
Apply directly to Homewise. Income and home-value limits apply.
More on Homewise ↓Klarna at Checkout
Pay your invoice in installments through Klarna — available on the Stripe Checkout page when your amount qualifies.
Pay Over Time
Choose Klarna at checkout when eligible to split your invoice into installments instead of paying the full amount upfront.
No Surcharge From Us
The price on your quote is the price you pay us. Klarna shows you its exact installment terms (including any APR) before you confirm.
You See the Terms First
Klarna's application is short. You review the plan, payment schedule, and any interest before agreeing — no surprise charges.
How Klarna Works at Checkout
Step-by-step from estimate to first installment.
- 1Get your free estimate
We come out, inspect your roof, and send you an itemized quote — no commitment.
- 2Sign and receive your invoice
When you accept the quote, we send a secure Stripe Checkout link for your deposit (or final invoice).
- 3Choose Klarna at checkout (if eligible)
If your invoice amount qualifies, Klarna appears alongside credit card and ACH on the Stripe Checkout page. Pick Klarna, complete the short application, and pick whatever plan Klarna offers you.
- 4We get paid, you get installments
Klarna pays us in full. You pay Klarna on your chosen installment schedule. We schedule the roof work — no waiting on a financing decision to start.

Financing FAQs
What are my financing options for a Lobo Roofs project?+
Two paths. For smaller invoices, deposits, and repair work, you can choose Klarna installments at our Stripe Checkout page — soft credit check, decision in seconds, Klarna sets the terms. For larger projects (full re-roofs that may exceed Klarna's limits), qualifying NM homeowners can apply directly to Homewise — an independent NM nonprofit lender offering fixed-rate home improvement loans. The two are separate; you choose which fits.
What financing options does Klarna offer?+
Klarna's available plans depend on the invoice amount, your location, and your Klarna account. For US customers, Klarna may offer: Pay in 30 days, Pay in 3 or Pay in 4 (split into biweekly payments), or longer financing of up to 36 months. Klarna determines which plans appear at checkout — we don't choose for you. You'll see your specific options and terms before confirming.
Are the Klarna payment plans interest-free?+
Pay in 4 and Pay in 30 are interest-free when paid on time, per Klarna. Longer financing plans carry interest at 0% to 35.99% APR based on your creditworthiness, subject to credit approval and Klarna's terms. Klarna shows the exact APR, payment schedule, and total cost before you confirm — review carefully.
Is there a maximum invoice amount Klarna covers?+
Klarna's longer financing tops out at around $10,000 per transaction, with shorter plans (Pay in 4, Pay in 30) capped lower. That means Klarna is well-suited for repairs, deposits, or smaller scopes — full re-roof invoices that exceed Klarna's limits will not show Klarna as an option at checkout. For larger projects, you can use Klarna for the deposit and another payment method for the balance, or use a credit card / ACH / cash for the full amount.
Does Klarna check my credit?+
For Pay in 4 and Pay in 30, Klarna runs a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score, per Klarna. For longer financing, Klarna runs a credit application which may include a hard inquiry and reporting to the credit bureaus. Approval and exact terms are decided by Klarna, not by us — we never see your credit information.
How do I pay for my roof in installments?+
When you receive your deposit invoice or final invoice from us, you'll pay through a secure Stripe Checkout page. If Klarna is available for that amount, it appears as one of the payment methods alongside credit card and ACH. You select Klarna, complete a short application, and pick from whatever plans Klarna offers you.
What other payment methods do you accept?+
Cash, personal or cashier's check, ACH bank transfer, and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe. Larger projects can be split into a deposit at signing and a final balance on completion — Klarna can be used for either if the amount fits Klarna's limits.
Is there a fee for using Klarna?+
Lobo Roofs doesn't add a financing surcharge — the price on your quote is the price you pay us. Klarna may charge interest on longer financing plans (the APR is disclosed before you confirm). Pay in 4 and Pay in 30 are typically interest-free when paid on schedule.
How does Homewise work — do you submit the application for me?+
No. You apply directly with Homewise — Lobo is not a Homewise lender, broker, or referral partner, and we don't submit applications on your behalf. Homewise typically asks applicants to obtain three contractor bids and then disburses approved funds for the scope of work. You can apply or learn more at homewise.org or by calling Homewise's Albuquerque office at (505) 243-6566.
Who qualifies for a Homewise home improvement loan?+
Per Homewise's published guidelines: the property must be your primary residence, the home value generally must be under $500,000, and household income generally must be under approximately $103,000 to qualify for the low fixed rate. Specific loan amounts, APR, and term lengths are determined by Homewise on a per-applicant basis. Confirm current eligibility directly with Homewise — terms may change.
