Roofing Warranties
Manufacturer-backed warranties on every roof we install — Owens Corning, Mule-Hide, and Gaco systems, registered in your name.
Manufacturer Coverage
We install systems from three certified manufacturer programs. Each comes with its own warranty terms, which we register and document for you.
Owens Corning Shingles
As an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, we install Duration and TruDefinition shingle lines that qualify for the SureNail Limited Lifetime Warranty when properly installed.
Up to 130 MPH wind resistance · Class 3 (or Class 4 with upgrade) impact resistance · 25-year algae resistance
Mule-Hide TPO Membranes
Single-ply TPO and modified bitumen flat-roof systems we install are backed by Mule-Hide manufacturer warranties when installed to spec by certified contractors.
Warranty length and terms vary by product line and system thickness — we walk through specifics at the estimate.
Gaco Silicone Coatings
Silicone restoration projects use Gaco coatings, which carry their own product warranties when applied over a properly prepared substrate at the correct mil thickness.
We document moisture probe results, substrate prep, and application thickness as part of warranty registration.

Warranty FAQs
What manufacturer warranties come with my new roof?+
It depends on the system installed. Asphalt shingle re-roofs we install qualify for Owens Corning's Limited Lifetime Warranty (SureNail Technology). TPO flat-roof systems carry Mule-Hide manufacturer warranties on the membrane. Silicone restoration roofs are covered under Gaco's product warranty. The exact length and terms of each warranty depend on the product line and system choices made at the estimate — we walk through the warranty paperwork before any work starts.
Do I have to do anything to register the warranty?+
No — as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor we register the SureNail Limited Lifetime Warranty in your name as part of the project. You get a registration confirmation directly from Owens Corning. For TPO and silicone systems, we handle the manufacturer registration paperwork on your behalf and provide you with copies for your records.
What does the warranty NOT cover?+
Most manufacturer roofing warranties cover material defects under normal use. They do not cover damage from acts of nature (hail, wind, hurricane, fire, falling objects), failure to maintain (clogged gutters, debris buildup that causes ponding or rot), modifications made by other contractors after installation, or normal wear from extreme conditions. The specific exclusions are listed in each manufacturer's warranty document — we go over these with you so there are no surprises.
Is the workmanship of the install covered separately from the materials?+
Yes. Manufacturer warranties cover the materials. Workmanship — the install itself — is a separate matter. Workmanship terms vary by project and are spelled out in your estimate and contract. Reach out if you have questions about workmanship coverage on a roof we've already installed.
What happens if I sell my home — is the warranty transferable?+
Most manufacturer roofing warranties allow a one-time transfer to the new homeowner, typically within a defined window after closing (often 60 days) and sometimes with a small transfer fee. Owens Corning, Mule-Hide, and Gaco all have transfer provisions. We can pull your warranty document if you need to confirm exact terms before listing the home.
I have a warranty claim — what do I do?+
Call us first at (505) 850-6336. We'll come inspect the roof at no charge, document the issue, and confirm whether it's covered under the manufacturer warranty, the workmanship terms, or neither. If it's a manufacturer claim, we file directly with the manufacturer on your behalf — you don't have to navigate that paperwork yourself.
